Receiving a Hamper...
At the Lethbridge Food Bank we strive to make receiving assistance as easy and stress free as possible. Our priority is to make sure that you leave with a smile on your face and a feeling that we understand.
The following are the guidelines of receiving a hamper.
You must bring in a valid piece of picture ID for you and your spouse, plus ID for all of your children.
Acceptable forms of ID for your children are:
ù Birth Certificate
ù Alberta Health Care
ù ID Cards
You must bring in proof of address. We need this to verify that you are a resident of our jurisdiction.
You must bring in proof of income. We need this to ensure that you receive the support you and your family need. Acceptable forms of income are:
ù Pay Stubbs
ù AISH/SFI/CPP/EI Stubb
ù Bank Statement
ù Letter that states your application of assistance
Once you have met all of the qualifications you can relax...we will now give you a membership card to make your next visits quick and easy.
You can come once a month for a hamper and twice a week for fresh bread and produce. Please don't forget to bring your own bags!
