100 Hour Hunger Strike

Well... as the time crept up on me for the 3rd Annual 100 Hour Hunger Strike....the nightmares began! The memories of the past two years are still very vivid in my mind and the struggle to feel good after a lack of food, sleep and parking lot living scared me even more.  However, I was fully prepared to move forward with the 100 Hour Hunger Strike but then....after a month of having a bad stomach flu and sinus infection and still not feeling 100% I thought I better focus on the upcoming Golf Tournament and get in better shape.  So, although I am not starving myself at this time...there is still a chance that it will happen sometime this year.  But please feel free to donate anyway!  I really, really, really, really don't want to go hungry - and neither do our clients!

2008 Details

Well, another year of starving is complete, and although we didn't reach the $35,000 goal we still did outstanding thanks to the support of our community.

We raised over $30,000 in food and cash donations.  I want to thank everyone who took the time to visit me at the trailor and for everyone who donated, sent words of encouragment and made this fundraiser worthwhile.

THANK YOU!
